Maudeline

So it's been a long time, yeah, and I have no idea if things will speed up or stay the same. Hopefully the former! Anyway, I've had this character on my mind for quite some time, someone that I would love to develop a lot more and then show to the world (or at least the handful of people that will see this). Her name is Maudeline and she lives in an old plantation house. The skull has mystical powers. Some stuff happens! This is what she looks like. I don't know how long it took to work on but I do know that I was inspired to actually see this drawing through to the end and get some real practice in thanks to a series of videos I stumbled upon by a CG training group called CGCookie. I'm willing to bet you've all heard about it and have been keeping it a secret from me! Either way, thanks to these videos, I got off my butt and did something. Next stop, I really need to learn how to do backgrounds, like heeby jeeby.
